CLB Placement Tests with a Proctor

If you live outside of the Halifax Regional Municipality and can not take the test online on your own, you can take it with the help of a proctor in your area.

Online English assessments are made available through support from our partner organizations across Nova Scotia.

What are online assessments with a proctor?

You don't have to be in Halifax to take your English language assessment.
Instead of going to our head office in Halifax, you will go to the nearest proctor site and meet an experienced LENS assessor via Zoom.
The assessor will test your Speaking and Listening skills first.
After that our proctor will help you with Reading and Writing tests.
You will get your results IMMEDIATELY after you have taken your test and will be provided with information on English language classes available to you.
